What are your political views?

​I'm a Democratic Socialist. My degree is in political science. I advocate and fight for progressive policies during my day job; then write indulgent stories about the worst guy you know and his wife at night. No ideals here—just unconventional, contradictory distractions.

How often do you publish?

​​​With no certain frequency, unfortunately. I'm at the mercy of my brain and my work schedule. But I've been writing about these two for ten years now and I don't see my desire to do that diminishing or disappearing any time soon

Do you take requests?

​There's no guarantee I will have the time or the personal interest* to fulfill a request. Not every idea triggers inspiration, you know? With that said, you are more than welcome to submit one. Maybe your suggestion will intrigue me!

*I have no interest in writing stories focused on Hitler's other romantic relationships, nor coerced infidelity/threesomes/etc. I'm a one-woman author, sorry. (:

 

 

Why Adolf Hitler?

​Simply put: I find the bad guys to be more fascinating and fun to write about than the good guys. Their messiness is more interesting to delve into. This predilection is hardly uncommon (ex. mafia romances), though it tends to be restricted to fictional people for the general population.

 

Writing is mostly about exploring conflict. And the complicated relationship between a genocidal dictator and the woman he loves, with all its inherent psychological extremes is irresistible to me. The tension writes itself.

Why real people with real victims?

Truthfully, I don't know. Bad luck of the draw, I suppose. These stories aren't for everyone and that's okay.
