The last two years have been rather trying for everyone, myself included. My job is very physically and socially demanding; and alongside that, I got a new puppy (and everyone knows how much time and energy those little ones take). But with the acquirement of some new equipment I've finally been feeling the creative itch again, and I want to take advantage of it.

Late nights spent writing and re-reading letters.

Despite my absence, I have been quietly working on various large projects throughout the extended radio silence. Some may not remember a passing remark I made years ago on my now deactivated Tumblr account about creating a dictator dating simulator; but that idea never died and over the last couple of years my ambitions toward it—under the working title ”dear.Dictator”—have only grown. It's a project that requires research mostly unrelated to our most "favorite" and familiar boy here. It's been a time consuming process and will continue to be. But it's allowed for a lot of sketching and goofing around in Photoshop as I go about designing our dictators and various backgrounds alongside writing the script and accompanying music. I fully intend for it to be mature in its themes, complete with explicit content, tongue-and-cheek scenarios, and some psychological horror. It’s still very much in its infancy and won’t be finished anytime soon but I wanted to share the “news” regardless.

Anyway, here's some art to tide y'all over while I re-write a very long story I lost a couple months ago due to the horrors of technology.

I will see you again, story in hand, in a short while.
