Wrote this on a whim this morning and boy oh boy—can ya tell I’ve been spending most of my time working on Hadestown material?

Full disclosure: I've stepped out of the house for a bit to grab some fresh (creativity) air. And the fact that writing no longer feels like pulling teeth bodes well for these two, regardless of whether or not you enjoyed this particular piece. I'm still working on my larger, more traditional pieces, and those sessions have proven to be substantially more productive lately. Much less time spent beating dead horses.
